About Me

My name is Jessica Robledo and I am a library and information studies student at San Jose State University with a strong interest in archives, special collections, and rare books. I am especially drawn to materials that preserve cultural memory, historical traditions, and stories that are often overlooked. My academic work centers on the thoughtful care, description, and accessibility of rare and fragile materials. I bring a background in esoteric and folkloric traditions, which shapes how I approach research and context within library spaces. I am particularly interested in special libraries and archives that work with unique or unconventional collections. Ultimately, I hope to work in a setting where preservation, curiosity, and meaningful access come together.
